Meet the Characters!

Lucian Solaris is the prince of A Shadowed Crown's primary setting, Luna Vallis, and is one of the novel's protagonists alongside Arion Silva.

He has a lot of trouble socialising and understanding people, but he tries his best. He also has a physical disability, though he hides it like his life depends on it.
Arion Silva is Lucian's manservant, closest friend, and one of the novel's protagonists.

He is quite anxious and an avid reader since Lucian taught him how to read, and he is not above being a bit sassy towards even those several stations above him.
Gale is one of the four elemental spirits in Aeterni and has taken up the hobby of following Lucian and Arion around. While not a protagonist, he is one of the points of view.

He is quite restless and loves hearing about as well as creating drama, often coming across as immature and childish. However, he takes great pride in that.
Calytrix Solaris is the Princess of Luna Vallis and Lucian's older sister by a few years.

She is far more flamboyant than her brother and often seems to have a hard time respecting his space and boundaries, but also cares about him to an extent, especially regarding his health.

About the Author
J E Pounds
J. E. Pounds (more commonly referred to as Jess) is a Canberran author who lives and breathes queer fiction. She is studying creative writing at university, letting it feed an already all-consuming obsession with her craft. J. E. Pounds, alongside writing, also paints, draws, and plays the piano and the flute. She has been immersed in creativity her whole life, having been raised on books rather than devices (somehow, having a book addiction is just as bad). But all that reading made her know that she wanted people to read all the stories she had in her head. Now living the dream as a queer and neurodivergent author, she values positive representation in her writing, knowing how important it is to find something familiar in the pages of a book.

P.S. I drew this!
